On the 6th of October, Kingswood Photographic Society will be
having the second digital editing workshop of the year. It will be led by our long-standing friend, Ray Grace ARPS, DPAGB, who is well known for his high level of
Photoshop skills.
At the beginning of the year, fantastically, over
90% of KPS members answered my
questionnaire about their level of post capture knowledge and which software
packages they used. This proves to be really
helpful as Ray can structure his evenings to accommodate the spread from total
beginners to those with significantly more experience. The objective is there will be something for
everyone who digitally enhances their images post capture.
So that Ray can address issues which are puzzling
you, it would be helpful if questions were submitted in advance, although he
will be more than happy to respond to your queries which come up during the evening.
This promises to be a most useful,
informative and instructive evening so we hope you can join us. Do remember to bring your notebook.
Kingswood PS meets all year round on Fridays
at 7.30pm, mostly at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ. The cost for visitors is £3.00.
PLEASE REMEMBER, tonight is Hand-in for the Members' Annual Exhibition.
Prints are to be brought in this evening and DPIs submitted on a disk, memory
card or emailed to kingswood_dpi@btinternet.com.
Good luck to all those who enter.
The KPS Members' Annual Exhibition will be held at St Barnabas Church Hall on Friday 11th November. It is open to everyone and entrance is free, as is your cuppa tea or coffee, so bring along your family and friends.
