This Friday at KPS ...

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome for the first time, Vicki Boulter ARPS, DPAGB, as their speaker on Friday 28th October who will be giving a print, dpi and av image presentation talk entitled Photography as Art.

Vicki’s work is a combination of photographs together with illustrations and digital art.  She is passionate about the images she produces.  For example, she creates pictures of children captured in fantasy setting that reflects their imagination, ambitions and creativity.  Her photographs are taken through play as opposed to the subject being told to sit down, pose be quiet and look pretty!  Photographing children through play encourages creativity and arms children with confidence to express themselves, plus reassuring them that the person they are is more important than the way the look.

Vicki’s Avant Garde Portraiture is much the same as her children’s photography; the subject looks powerful – the muse in their own piece of imaginative art and the objective is beauty through expression, creativity and art and not looking like a stereotypical model.

For further information about Vicki Boulter, pop onto the website, http://www.vickiboulter.com/about.html, from which you’ll see why this promises to be an absolutely superb evening.  We hope to see you there.

Kingswood PS meet Fridays from 7.30pm to around 9.30pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ.  Visitors are most welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00.
