16-32-16 - the HDR combination?

Want to try High Dynamic Range without a plugin?
Try this.
Open your 8 or 16 bit image then try
1. Image>Mode>32 bit
2. Image>Mode>16 bit
3. In the dialog box that opens select Local Adaption and play with the curve until you like it. Voila. Tone Mapping like a pro.
