This Friday at KPS ...

There is no meeting on the 3^rd April as it is Good Friday.  Wherever you are or whatever you are doing this weekend may there be a chance for you to enjoy a photographic moment.  Perhaps by visiting an exhibition and gaining inspiration from the images you see or by taking your camera to a favourite location and capturing a moment in time.  Also, there are often numerous sporting opportunities over the Easter weekend, for example there is a MotorX event at Marshfield on Good Friday.  Further details of this can be found on the website http://www.amca.uk.com/motocross/motocross-fixtures/891-marshfield-at-marshfield-good-friday-03-04-15. If you prefer something more relaxing, the rhododendrons and magnolias are particularly spectacular this year and, if Westonbirt is close by to you, it is one of the locations to enjoy these shrubs and where carpets of wild flowers can be enjoyed by a wander in Silk Wood.

Kingswood Photographic Society next meets on Friday 10^th April, when members from Cheltenham Camera Club will visit us to show the second of Cheltenham International Photographic Salon.  Along with the acceptances, we will have the opportunity to see the winning entries.

Kingswood PS meet Fridays at 7.30pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol  BS30 5JJ.  The cost for visitors is £3.00.
