This Friday at KPS

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome for the first time Michael Krier  ARPS, MA as their speaker on Friday 21^st March, giving an illustrated talk, ‘Photography by degrees’.

After an active phase as a student in Bristol in the 60s, Michael resumed photography on retirement gaining a Masters degree in 2008.  He will share his experience of studying the work of other photographers, suggesting that we could achieve more in our photography than constantly seeking to ‘please judges’. 

 

Michael's images will range from 60s 'documentary' to his current, sometimes abstract, Cotswold and Norfolk landscapes, as well as images of pilgrimage.

 

This promises to be a most interesting evening so we hope to see you there.  

 

Kingswood PS meet Fridays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ.  Visitors are most welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00.
