Kingswood Photographic Society is
absolutely delighted to welcome back George Reekie BPE5* as their speaker on
Friday 6th September, giving an illustrated talk, From Japan to Norton.
George
says: “For me, photography is all about capturing the moment and its ability to
freeze action. My main interest is in action photography, through sport,
wildlife, landscape and people. I rarely take a picture of nothing happening.
I
value being an amateur because that gives me the freedom to take what I want
and not be constrained by commercial factors. Photography has taken me to all
kinds of amazing places, from the Serengeti to the Bass Rock, from Donington Park to the West Somerset Railway, from
continent to continent. It has given me incredible memories and taken me to
some amazing places.
