On 28th June, Kingswood
Photographic Society will be holding a digital editing workshop.
A while ago, KPS Committee carried out a
membership survey and one of the requests was for more information on how to
prepare files and prints for competitions.
The digital editing workshop this coming Friday will cover exactly those
points.
In the first half Stewart Scott will be
showing you how to get your raw files into the correct technical format for
digital projection.
Whilst, during the second half some of our other esteemed
members, Brian Cheer, Kevin Poole and Andy Beel, will be going through various
methods of mounting a print.
This will be an informative
and helpful evening, giving the chance to learn something new or get a
refresher. So, see you on Friday.
Kingswood
PS meets all year round on Fridays at 7.30pm, mostly at St Barnabas Church
Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ. The cost for visitors is £3.00.
NEXT WEEK Rob Lloyd FRPS, DPAGB, EFIAP - An Evening with Rob Lloyd
This is Rob's third visit to KPS over the past six years. He will present a variety of monochrome and colour prints with various subjects specialising in landscape.
