This Friday at KPS ...

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome back Paul Foley as their speaker on Friday 4th January giving his illustrated talk, Simply Passion and Good Fortune.

Paul is a dedicated landscape photographer who seeks to express his own personal impression of the beauty and moods of the natural world.  He has a particular sensitivity for the intimate details, designs and abstractions that can so easily be overlooked.  Regularly seeking the peace, tranquility and loneliness that come with being out in wild open places, he prefers the evocative and changing moods of autumn and winter.

Paul’s work does not seek to follow the latest fashions in landscape photography; nor does it intend to wow any judges.  However, it does reflect his inner self and stems from an intuitive response that is the result of being totally at one with his subject matter.  His presentation “Simply Passion and Good Fortune” seeks to express the deep feeling and relationship that Paul has developed for the landscapes of Southern Tuscany, Yellowstone and Colorado.

Paul is currently a Vice Chairman of the RPS Distinctions Panel for Visual Art and also sits on its Travel Panel.  He is an active member of Arena, the influential group of photographers based in Southern England.

This promises to be an absolutely superb evening so we hope to see you there.

Kingswood PS meet Fridays at 7.30pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol  BS30 5JJ.  Visitors are most welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00.
