KPS Outings in 2018 ...

Kingswood Photographic Society outings are arranged for 2018 by our Social Secretary, Dave Dimond, who looks forward to seeing you on these occasions:

Monday 7th May   Mendip Raceway for Stockcar Racing.  BS40 7XU   Meet at 12.00pm car park.  See www.mendipsraceway.com.  Meeting at the paying booths about 12.00pm as the first race is 1 o’clock.
This Bank Holiday Monday sees the return of F2 stockcars, with home favourites 522 Chris Mikulla and 935 Leading the booking list, as well as distance traveller 761 Richard Bowyer and the comeback kid 676 Neil Hooper. The two South West Superstars, 127 Matt Stoneman and 542 Steven Gilbert, will also be demonstrating, their deserved flashing lights.
We also have our bangers racing on the Monday, providing top notch nudge and spin racing, countered by the fast hard racing provided by the Hot Rods, where we see last years top 4 batlling away once again. Finally, the reason for one of our favourite meetings of the year, the Robin's Caravan Carnage will be our last race of the day following after a top day of Robin entertainment, where we see an additional 13 drivers racing this meeting!
It looks to be a very interesting meeting.

Sunday May 27th  Didcot Railway Centre for the Great War Society for Rail.  Meet at 10.00am at main station entrance.  See www.didcotrailwaycentre.org.uk.

Friday June 1st Clifton Observatory - https://cliftonobservatory.com/.  Although the Observatory will be closed by the time we meet up, we should have some nice views across the Suspension Bridge.

The post code is BS8 3LT and parking will have to be on street ie The Promenade/Litfield Place, where there is a good layby. A slight walk up the incline will lead to the Observatory and we plan to meet at 7.30pm.

Friday 29th June  The Hawk Conservancy Trust, Visitor Centre, Weyhill, Andover, Hampshire, SP11 8DY.   Meet at 10.30 in car park.  See www.hawk-conservancy.org.

More evenings to follow as listed in the 2018 KPS Programme.
