On 19th May, Kingswood
Photographic Society move out
of doors and down the road to Longwell Green. Mike is sorting model(s),
please bring your own daylight.
We’ll start the evening with some natural light (if there is any) in the area opposite to the Willsbridge Mill Car park on Long Beach Road, before descending into the nature reserve to make use of the path with overhanging trees, quarry face or various other natural features to show how you can work within the natural environment to build an image.
Parking: On Long Beach Road opposite the car
park. Do NOT park in the car park as the gates are locked early in the
evening!
Meeting point: Opposite the car park at the
top of the hill. If you arrive late, just follow the path down and you’ll
find us… if not at the river, turn right and head towards the Mill building…
Time: Meet for 7:30pm.
Equipment: Cameras. You may want to
bring tripods for when the light starts fading. You may also want to
bring a torch / headtorch.
Weather: if it is raining we may carry on as
long as it isn’t too heavy – watch forecasts and dress accordingly. If
there is heavy rain we may need to cancel – sorry.
Kingswood PS meet Fridays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at St
Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ. Visitors are welcome to join us and the cost for
non-members on a Studio Night is £5.00.
