On the 30th September, Kingswood
Photographic Society will be having a digital editing workshop. It will be led by Chris Dean, one of our
members.
Chris
says: “This evening will be about how people see the same
image differently. Starting with the
same raw file we will compare the end result from people who have only seen the
raw file and not the scene as it was with those who took the photograph. We will then be shown how the end result was
achieved.”
This will certainly be a most interesting,
informative and instructive evening. On these evenings, members
are encouraged to ask questions and to share their knowledge. So, see you on Friday and remember to bring
your notebook.
Kingswood PS meets all year
round on Fridays at 7.30pm, mostly at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol
BS30 5JJ. The cost for visitors is £3.00.
We hope you can join us …
PLEASE
REMEMBER that it is also Hand-in for the Members' Annual
Exhibition. Prints to be brought in tonight and DPIs can be submitted on
a disk, memory card or emailed to kingswood_dpi@btinternet.com. Good luck
to those who enter.
The KPS Members'
Annual Exhibition will be help at St Barnabas Church Hall on Friday 11th
November. It is open to everyone and entrance is free.
