On 15th July, Kingswood
Photographic Society, there is a change to the printed programme and it will be the third Summer Night Outings of the year.
Our
Social Secretary, Hilary Kay, who will lead us, says: “An evening in Clifton . Meet at 7.00pm at the junction of Observatory Road
and the B3129 that crosses the Suspension Bridge. The nearest postcodes
are in Gloucester Row facing the junction, BS8 4AW. Street parking is available in the roads
nearby.
Some of
you will know that the Bridge is under repair at the moment and the Leigh Woods
Tower is wrapped in
plastic covering but we can stroll around the Observatory and the rocks
area and across the Bridge to look at the Gorge views. We can walk along
Sion Hill and find the exquisite areas like Royal York Crescent and West Mall.
Along
Sion Hill we will also find The White Lion Bar, BS8 4LD, and hope for a chance to see the views from the great
terrace when we finish the evening with refreshment there".
These types of evenings provide a great chance for
members to spend time together, for taking photographs and sharing photographic
knowledge or simply socialising with one other. Any questions about this
or other outings, please contact Hilary, hkcroft@gmail.com or 01380 722288.
For information about Kingswood Photographic Society, please pop

Looking forward to
seeing you all this Friday.
