This Friday at KPS ...

On the 17th of June, Kingswood Photographic Society will be having a digital editing workshop.  It will be led by two of its members, Kevin Poole and Chris Deane.

During the first half, Kevin says: “We will be having a closer look at macro and close up work along with the difficulties it produces. Depth of field is the main problem along with having a very steady set up and a large helping of patience.

After our refreshment break, Chris will show how he uses Adobe Bridge to view, categorise and rate raw files from the camera. These mainly are time saving short cuts, hints and tips. Time dependent Chris will also show how he uses Adobe Camera Raw to process his Raw files.

This will certainly be an informative and helpful evening.  There should be something for everyone from picking up a new genre of photography to discovering different ways to process images.  On these evenings, members are encouraged to ask questions and to share their knowledge.  So, see you on Friday and remember to bring your notebook.
