This Friday at KPS ...

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome George Reekie DPAGB, ABPE, as their speaker on Friday 13th May who will be giving an illustrated talk entitled An Evening with George Reekie.

George says: “I first joined a camera club when I lived in Zambia and have learnt my photography through camera clubs and personal experience. I like to think of myself as a professional amateur – someone who enjoys my hobby but who cares about producing quality images.

Taunton Camera Club is my main club, but a few years ago I formed a group which we called f8. Currently it has a membership of six and is a club in its own right. f8 has won the WCPF DPIC for the last two years. Personally, I enter national and international exhibitions and thoroughly enjoy the competitive side of photography.

Although, I will photograph anything, my favourite areas are wildlife, sport and event photography. My presentation will show some of the work I have done over the last two years and I hope to show the real enjoyment and fun to be had from photography.”

This promises to be an absolutely superb evening so we hope to see you there.
