This Friday at KPS ...

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome Jack Casement ARPS, for the first time, as their speaker on Friday 15th April who will be giving an illustrated talk entitled More than just Photoshop.

Jack has been using Photoshop since version 2.5 in 1994.  He started running private Photoshop workshops in the same year and has also taught Photoshop Beginners and Intermediate at Bracknell & Wokingham College in Berkshire as well as City & Guilds Digital Imaging.  For three years he was a member of Charlie Waite’s Light & Land team teaching Photoshop to his photographic holiday clients.

Jack says: “I will be starting my presentation with a couple of short demos of Photoshop before quickly moving on to the different image software ie Apophysis, Bryce Landscapes, Poser and Ultra Fractal. Each of these segments will start with a short demo on how the software works, followed by many images created using that software. To demonstrate each piece of software properly would really take hours, by necessity the demo will only last about ten to fifteen minutes each.

will bring a box of prints covering all the different software which I will be demonstrating that can be arranged around the room or left on tables for members to view during the evening”

For further information about Jack, pop onto his website, www.jackcasement.co.uk from which you’ll see why this promises to be an absolutely superb and informative evening.  We hope to see you there.
