This Friday at KPS ...

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome for the first time, Derwood Pamphilon LRPS, AFIAP, as their speaker on Friday 22nd January. Derwood will be giving an illustrated talk entitled Portraiture, Dance and Derelict Places.

Derwood says: “I came to photography relatively late and enjoy working both on location whether it be an abandoned factory, a country house or a theatre as well as in the studio. Although I photograph some landscape and travel my main passion for the last 3 years has been portraiture, including artistic nude and dance. I love capturing the beauty and form of those I photograph. I also manipulate some images a little to bring a more creative edge to my work.

My talk will show projected images from all these settings and I aim to show that I strive to develop my art and move forwards."

For further information about Derwood, pop onto his website, www.derwoodphotography.com from which you’ll see why this promises to be a great evening.  We hope to see you there.
