studio flash and speed lights.
Ever wondered what the following are: fill, key, broad, accent, rim, Rembrandt, feathered, etc?
Or what difference the following make: soft boxes,
strip boxes, reflectors, bare bulb, snoot, grids, flags, honeycombs, beauty
dish, gobo ... ?
Or what these terms mean: soft light, hard light,
high key, low key, inverse square law?
Mike will try and explain all - don't bring cameras
as he'll be using his camera tethered to a TV so you can see the light in real
time as he works his way through some of the above.
