Resize Me - easy batch image resizing (and more) on the Mac

Even though there's image resizing built into your Mac and PC, sometimes you need just a little more. Especially if you are thinking of sharing images that may have a commercial value.

As a Mac user I thought I'd try Resize Me from CreativeBe. I'd already experimented with their free file conversion tool Dragoman so after favourably impressed with the free stuff thought I'd look at £17.50 worth of image resizing goodness.

On startup you're presented with a simple window.

Everything is drag and drop and all you do is select what you want to do from a menu, you can resize, convert, add a watermark, crop, rotate, flip, rename, add a drop shadow or a reflection and - of course - resize.

This couldn't be easier and produces results like the pic to the right in seconds.  All I did was drap a 38mb TIFF file on to the window, select my options and convert to get a 668k jpg.

Resize me gets an easy 5 star rating.

For windows users looking for similar functionality try Faststone Photo Resizer
