Haywood Magee - in the water

I bought the July 12, 1947 issue of Picture Post from a boot fair last year and liked the cover image so much I thought I'd share it with you.

Fully a year before KPS was formed, photographer Haywood Magee is up to his waders in water photographing film star Pat Roc whilst his assistant on the bank has a somewhat safer (and drier) shot to master.

Time for waders to come back in fashion?
