Kingswood Photographic Society is
absolutely delighted to offer a warm welcome to Dorchester Camera Club when
six of their members will show some of their photographs on Friday 23rd
January.
These are the members who’ll be presenting:
·
Roland
Tarr gained his CPAGB last December and he’ll show us the images he used as
well as those which were not included.
·
Margaret
Homan Berry gained
her ARPS panel and we’ll see her successful panel, plus those she
rejected. Margaret trained as a botanist
and her images were made using a flat bed scanner so it will be interesting to
see this different approach.
·
Rosie
Mathison will explain the process of choosing her LRPS panel which she gained
in November.
·
Tim
Downton and Sue Buckland will do a double act which will have some high quality
nature images, plus possibly motorbike racing shots.
·
John
Tilsley will bring along some of his latest work which has been influenced by
attending various workshops during 2014.
John Tilsley sayd: “Hopefully we will be showing
you a good cross section of work from the 6 Photographers. I am sure this will
give you an interesting variety of both subject and level and hopefully
illustrate the success of the distinctions group we have been running for local
camera club members in our area.”
This cetainly promises
to be a great evening and it will be interesting to see what Dorchester CC
members are up to, so we hope to see you there.
Kingswood PS meet Fridays from 7.30pm
to 9.e0pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ. Visitors are most welcome and the cost for
this evening is £3.00.
