This Friday at KPS ...

On September 12th, Kingswood Photographic Society has a Post Production evening for images taken on all Social events including the summer nights out this year.

Our Social Secretary Kevin says: “I know from my attendance at the evenings and outings that a good number of pictures were taken by a large number of you and am looking forward to seeing the results. This evening will give you an opportunity to show some of the images you took and talk a little about them. If you have some which you thought would have worked and haven't it would be an opportunity to get feed back as well. Your views about the event/location would also be appreciative. The pictures can be projected or printed.

I am hoping we will see pictures from all of you who attended those events and would be grateful if you could let me know ASAP what you plan to show and how many images you have in mind. We can then start planning the structure of the evening.

Later on this year at the Christmas meeting we shall be holding a print competition for the best voted image taken at any club social event in 2014. The winner of the competition will receive the superb bowl created by Bristol Blue Glass to keep. The Post Production night will give you a chance to get those pictures out and see what the response is and whether you feel it would be worth printing any of them, if you have not already done that.”

This bodes to be an interesting and enjoyable evening so we hope to see you there.

Visitors are always welcome and this type of evening gives an excellent opportunity to see some members’ work and to learn more about KPS.  Kingswood PS meets Fridays at 7.30pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ. The cost for this evening is £3.00.
