There
is no meeting on the 18th April as it is Good Friday on 18th
April. So, wherever you are this Easter,
or whatever you are doing, maybe there will be a chance to enjoy a photographic
moment. Maybe by visiting an exhibition
and finding inspiration from the images you see, or taking your camera to a
favourite location and capturing a moment in time. There are numerous sport opportunities over
the Easter weekend, for example there are a couple of MotorX events at Marshfield on Good Friday
and at Leighton, near Frome on Easter Monday.
If you prefer something more relaxing, the magnolias have been
particularly spectacular this year and the carpets of bluebells are beginning
to emerge.
Kingswood Photographic Society next meets on
Friday 25h April, when members will discover who has been awarded
the AP and FT trophies. These triptych competitions
are interesting and challenging and this year our judge, Tony Byram ARPS,
DPAGE, AWPF, EFIAP, will comment on the panels and select the winners. It will inevitably be an interesting evening
so good luck to all who have entered.
Kingswood PS meet Fridays at 7.30pm at St Barnabas Church
Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ. The cost for visitors is £3.00.
