This Friday at KPS ...

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome Ian Bateman FRPS, MPAGB, AV-AFIAPS, as their speaker on Friday 28 February giving an illustrated talk ‘Something Old, Something New…’.

Ian has been making AV sequences since the early 1980’s.  He was the first person to be awarded an FRPS and MPAGB in Digital AV, and is the Chairman of the RPS International AV Festival.  Ian will be showing a selection of sequences from over the years, including some Gold Medal winners.

Ian will also be showing sequences old and new covering various styles, including documentaries, themes, poetry, music and humour. He says that the hardest part of making any AV is coming up with the idea in the first place, and he will be talking about the various ways of approaching this task.

For further information about Ian Bateman, pop onto his website, www.ibateman.co.uk from which you’ll see why this promises to be fascinating evening so we hope to see you there.

Kingswood PS meet Fridays at 7.30pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol  BS30 5JJ.  Visitors are most welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00.
