This Friday at KPS ...

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome Rob Lloyd FRPS, DPAGB, EFIAP, as their speaker on Friday 5th July giving an illustrated talk ‘An Evening with Rob Lloyd’.

Rob says:  "I have an interest in most subjects of photography, except studio portraits. My true love is for landscape and catching the light at the right moment, bringing out depth, colour and texture, very often when the weather is changing or getting worse.

I have taken many candid shots of people particularly miners and sometimes use black and white for effect.

My last trip was to Zermatt in February this year and the Matterhorn is a very addictive mountain for photographers!  My evening will be a mixture of prints and projected images including International.”

For a further taster of Rob’s style of photography, visit his website www.roblloyd.org.uk.

This promises to be a superb evening so we hope to see you there.

Kingswood PS meet Fridays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol  BS30 5JJ.  Visitors are most welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00.

NEXT WEEK  Summer Night Out
We are incredibly fortunate that on of our members, Mike Palfrey is allowing us to photograph his Bugatti motorcar. Please meet at Bitton Station at 7.00pm.  The location postcode is, BS30 6HD.

DO NOTE that Mike’s Bugatti does not like to get wet and if it rains, an alternative outing will be arranged.  So, if the weather is inclement, please look at your emails before heading out.
