This Friday at KPS .....

Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to welcome Ed Collacott as their speaker on Friday  3 May, giving an illustrated talk, ‘Landscape Britain’.

Ed says: “I have always had a passion for the landscape and consider myself very fortunate to have made a good living from that passion for over 25 years, selling original prints, greeting cards, calendars, (sadly this years has sold out) and recently my first book ‘Landscape Britain’ which I am happy to sell to club members for the ridiculously good price of £5.00!

Having travelled the world to take pictures for many years I now confine my photography to the British Isles.  We have such varied and stunning landscapes I will never tire of seeking them out and trying to capture them. This is not always easy as our weather is variable to say the least but it is waiting for those special moments often in wild places that inspire me - I just love it.

I will bring along a good selection of prints to illustrate the talk and members are welcome to browse through them at the break or at the finish.

This promises to be an absolutely superb evening so we hope to see you there.

Kingswood PS meet Fridays at 7.30pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol  BS30 5JJ.  Visitors are most welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00

Please remember that tonight is HANDING IN for the Second Quarterly Competition
