Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to offer a warm welcome to Backwell Camera Club when four of their members will show some of their photographs on Friday 16th March.
Richard Pring, is a dark room worker and will display mainly monochrome black & white prints. His subjects are varied and his banter is light hearted.
Pip Sawtell, has a short digital travelogue presentation of a trip to the Aigas field centre in Beauly, Inverness which was hosted by Laurie Campbell. It will feature the set up of Aigas house and the itinerary of the week spent around the glens and gardens.
Kay Welsh, who is fond of Wales and landscapes, will give a digital presentation with views of many of her favourite areas and haunts. Her digital presentation is entitled A Little of This and That. She will finish with a short audio visual work called Winter.
Nick Cambourne - has produced many audio visual presentations. his subjects are varied from as far afield as Venice and as close to home as Backwell. Watch for his friend the clock maker! We all look forward to meeting the members of Kingswood.
This promises to be a great evening and it will be interesting to see what Backwell CC members are up to, so we hope to see you there.
Kingswood PS meet Fridays at 7.30pm for 7.45pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ. Visitors are most welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00.
