This Friday at KPS ...

Kingswood Photographic Society will be showing the Western Counties (WCPF) 2011 Travelling Print Critique on Friday 19 August.

The purpose of the Critique is to encourage clubs simply to devote an evening to look at and appreciate good quality prints that, due to space restrictions, are unable to be hung in the WCPF 2011 Annual Exhibition. The exhibition space restricts to hanging a maximum of 150 prints but several hundred of equal quality are not exhibited. It is from these prints that the Travelling Critique selection is made, ensuring that no one person or club dominates the selection.

There are a number of ways that clubs can view the prints but the object is to look closely at each image and appreciate why the picture was taken and what the photographer was trying to show.

Visitors are very welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00. Kingswood PS meets Fridays at 7.30pm for 7.45pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JJ.
