Kingswood Photographic Society is absolutely delighted to be able to welcome Barbie LIndsay FBPE, EFIAP, MPAGB as their speaker on Friday 7th January, giving her illustrated print talk entitled ‘My Kinda People’ and ‘Not a Pretty Picture’.
For Barbie, photography is not a hobby but an obsession. She eats, sleeps and drinks photography and in her spare time she likes to takes photographs.
Barbie loves all styles of photography, especially macro and creative work, but she’s probably more infamous for her ‘people’ pictures particularly those of an adult nature. Some are not for the faint hearted, but Barbie thinks as photographers we should embrace all types of photography, which include hard-hitting photojournalism and life as it is. Why not pop onto Barbie’s website for a taster of the kind of images she captures. Visitors are always very welcome and the cost for this evening is £3.00.
