Mike's splendid image of Antelope Canyon is the much deserved winner of Q1 2010's print competition.
Outstanding use of colour and composition make Mike's interpretation of a much captured location stand out.
Here are Mike's comments on his own image
"Taken with Nikon d300 with 18-35 Nikkor which was all I had having dropped a D700 and two lenses on my first day in USA !!!. The pic is created by light reflecting off the walls of a slot canyon created by flash floods on sandstone."
Just goes to show triumph can come from adversity.
