The plan next Friday is to go to Westonbirt, recognising that it is the beginning of the bank holiday weekend. We cannot be sure what will be going on apart from the fact that the Sculptree artists are likely to be there until dusk.
Equally, some of the other activities may also still be taking place, despite the fact that the programme on the timetable (see http://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/infd-6xclux ) suggests that everything ends at 5.00pm. We can only base our experience on previous years and our knowledge that Westonbirt Arboretum remains open until dusk.

Vanessa and I will be there from lunchtime, subject to the weather and plan to take a picnic with us.
We will then be around the Sculptree area, watching the sculptors at 6.30 pm, recognising that it begins to get dark at 7.30 pm. The plan is that we then go to the Hare & Hounds, a few 100 yards up the road towards Tetbury at between 7.30pm and 8.00pm.

We hope many of you will be able to join us and that it will be a fine evening. Please note that if last year was any guide you should be able to get in for nothing after 6.00pm or even earlier.
