On the day the former head of the BMA advocates compulsory innoculation (or your child does not get the school place you want), I found this particularly apt when it appeared on my Flickr homepage with an invite to explore The Commons.
John Vachon (1914-1975) is perhaps less well known than his contemporaries but his work is well worth the research.
