State of the Art: Congressman Wants Law to Make Sure Your Camera ClicksReally, as if we weren't feeling harassed enough. State of The Art reports that a New York Congressman wants all camera phones to make an audible click.
Is it April 1st already? Heaven help us if someone in power in the UK thinks this is a good idea.
... Our clock flies forward forward to 2012 and into the photographer's bag goes a 12 gigapixel camera plus a hi-vis vest, big daylglo hat, "i'm not a terrorist, really" t-shirt, a steam-powered klaxon, megaphone and a gigantic red flag on a 40' pole.
Our brave photographer then makes sure she/he has passes from the Parks Committee, the Council, the Police, the Military and the local Women's Institute then ventures out to take photos of discarded leaves - any human/animal/vertebrate subjects are now deemed suspicious and 'bad'.
.... and by the way, following the "photographers are not nice" laws of 2011, all cameras must be painted in bright orange and green reflective glow-in-the-dark paint?
